Transport Canada released some new restrictions on masks and air travel. Attached is a graphic of acceptable masks allowed during air travel.
All masks or face coverings must be made of multiple layers of tightly woven material and be secured to the persons head with ties or ear loops. Meaning bandanas, neck scarves, masks with an exhalation valve, mesh/lace masks, are no longer permitted. Face Shields are only allowed with an appropriate medical certificate. Attached are also examples of the medical certificates required for the exemptions.
Please keep in mind that these are Transport Canada’s guidelines, which have different restrictions than the Municipal Bylaw
