Our Safety Environment

Prevention is better than Cure

Safety is a core value of our company, and we believe in providing our employees and customers with a safe aviation based operations environment.

McMurray Aviation takes a proactive approach when it comes to mitigation of the hazards. A new hazard ranking system helps McMurray Aviation to differentiate hazards according to their risk levels. This system also provides significant information regarding the effectiveness of the present measures. A matrix-based system would be helpful to make appropriate decisions.  McMurray Aviation takes reasonable care while assigning different mitigation methods to hazards.

 Objective

McMurray Aviation aims to eliminate hazards whenever possible. When complete elimination of the hazard is not possible, it should be reduced as much as possible.

    Canadian Airport Safety Week 2019

Canadian Airports Safety Week is an airport-led initiative that promotes healthy and safe work practices among airport employees. Twenty-nine airports took part this year, which is being led by the Canadian Airports Council (CAC). Canadian Airports Safety Week was first launched in 2015 by the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, with 24 participating airports.

Each day of the week, we interviewed staff to highlight a different safety topic.
