Private pilot's licence
The private licence is the most common licence, it is a starting point for a career or pleasure flying. We provide a great opportunity to earn your licence in your own time. Our well equipped classroom in small groups provides an excellent learning environment. Best of all you can start at any time and work at your own pace.
The requirements for this course are:
- Students must be at least 17 yrs of age.
- Studentes m ust have a category 3 aviation medical certificate
- This course exceeds the minimum 40 hrs of groundschool required by Transport Canada .
- Students must accumulate a total of 45 hrs flight time, minimum of 17 hrs dual with an instructor and minimum of 12 hrs solo.
- Students must pass a written examination on Air Law, Navigation, Meteorology and General Knowledge with at least 60 percent in each section. and a flight test.
