Commercial pilots licence:
We offer the opportunity for private pilots to advance. Students will get their night rating and commercial licence in the same atmosphere as the private course. New material, and challenges will be presented in our groundschool program and flight training. In order to make a career of flying this licence is necessary.

The pre-requisites for this course are:

• a private pilots licence
• must be 18 yrs of age
• must have a category 1 aviation medical certificate

To earn this licence:

• 200 hours Total Time
• You will need to build up your total time after the private licence, approximately 70 hours
• Night Rating and VFR Over the Top privileges may be exercised with the commercial licence
• 100 hours Pilot in Command (including 20 hours of x-country)
• Minimum of 35 hours Dual (5 hours x-country, 20 hours instrument, 5 hours night including 2 hours night x-country)
• Minimum of 30 hours Solo (5 hours x-country, one trip outside of a 300 nautical mile radius from the base airport with 3 stops, 5 hours night)
• a written exam on air law, navigation, meteorology and general knowledge must be passed with at least 60 percent in each section and a flight test.
